Zelenskyy on Trump: We share the same position on peace through strength

Ukraine has the same position on peace through force as U.S. President-elect Donald Trump, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said.

“I love President Trump’s message. I think that we share a position on peace through strength. That is very important. It means that if you are strong, you can speak. And we need to be strong and Ukraine has to be strong,” Zelenskyy said in an interview with Lex Fridman, published on the YouTube channel of the President’s Office of Ukraine on Sunday.

Later, the head of state noted that Trump has all the forces to stop Vladimir Putin and give Ukraine strong security guarantees.
