One died in Chernihiv, there are casualties; search, rescue operations underway – authorities

A resident of Chernihiv was killed as a result of a Russian missile strike on the city on Friday, several people were injured, Head of Chernihiv Regional Military Administration Viacheslav Chaus said.

"One person is already known to have died. There are wounded. Search and rescue operations are ongoing," Chaus said on Telegram channel.

According to him, the enemy launched a triple missile strike on a residential area on the outskirts of Chernihiv. Several houses were significantly damaged.

Earlier, it was reported that two households were damaged and one person was injured.
