Kharkiv shelled 318 times last year, 94 civilians killed – mayor
During 2024, the Russian Armed Forces shelled Kharkiv with various types of weapons (missiles, drones, aerial bombs) 318 times, killing 94 civilians, said Mayor Ihor Terekhov.
"[As a result of enemy shelling of the city], there are 94 killed, three of them children. Some 1,108 were injured, 62 of whom are children again," Terekhov wrote on his Telegram channel.
According to him, during the year Kharkiv experienced 2,113 air raid sirens, with a total duration of 3,764 hours (more than 156 days).
