Death toll in Kyiv grows to two people – city authorities

Another victim has been found in Kyiv as a result of the Russian strike on Wednesday, January 1, head of Kyiv City Military Administration Timur Tkachenko said.

"Since the morning, the consequences of the strike on the capital have been eliminated. I personally visited the wreckage sites. Unfortunately, there are already two dead," Tkachenko wrote on his Telegram channel.

The rescue operation in Pechersk and Sviatoshynsky districts continues.

Earlier it was known about six injured and one dead woman.
