Zelenskyy appoints new head of SBU Counterintelligence Department
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a decree appointing Andriy Tupikov as Head of the Counterintelligence Department of the State Security Service of Ukraine (SBU).
Corresponding decree No. 900/2024 was published on the website of the head of state.
Tupikov is a major of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. In 2015, for personal courage and heroism demonstrated in the defense of state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, he was awarded the Order of Danylo Halytsky.
