Ukrainian defenders hit oil depot in Smolensk region, Russia
Units of the Special Operations Forces on the night of Tuesday, December 31, in cooperation with the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces and other components of the Defense Forces, attacked the Yartsevskaya oil depot in Smolensk region (Russia), the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
"Powerful explosions and a fire were recorded at the facility, heavy smoke is observed. According to available information, tanks with oil products caught fire. It is known that the base was used, in particular, to supply the Russian occupation army," the message on the Telegram channel says.
