Cabinet approves project for 2025 on temporary accommodation, support for persons in difficult life circumstances from among IDPs
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved a pilot project for 2025 on temporary accommodation and support for certain categories of persons in difficult life circumstances from among internally displaced persons (IDPs).
As reported by Cabinet of Ministers representative in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk on the Telegram channel, the corresponding decision was made at a government meeting on Tuesday.
In particular, the proposal of the Ministry of Social Policy on the implementation from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025 of a pilot project on temporary accommodation and support for certain categories of persons in difficult life circumstances from among internally displaced persons and the provision of certain social services to them was approved.
It is noted that the goal of the project is to develop a mechanism to help individuals in difficult life circumstances overcome such circumstances by providing them with temporary accommodation and support through the provision of individual social services, and for those of working age among them - by facilitating their employment in cooperation with the State Employment Service.
