Interior minister: We manage to maintain pre-war level of security inside Ukraine
The level of security inside Ukraine, without taking into account military risks, remains at the pre-war level, emphasizes the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko.
"Does a Ukrainian feel protected? Obviously not because of the war. However, if we do not take into account the military risks associated with the fighting or Russian shelling, other security indicators remain at the pre-war level," the interior minister said in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.
According to him, a lot of work and efforts are being put into this, which may not be obvious at first glance. "The Interior Ministry managed to maintain the pre-war level of security in the field of public order protection," Klymenko added.
Speaking about the minimum and maximum tasks for 2025, the minister noted: "The maximum task is to win a big war. Strengthen our combat units, improve the work of service units and continue to ensure security within the State. There are no minimum tasks from the very beginning of a full-scale invasion."
