McDonald’s opens restaurant at gas station in Kyiv next to Boryspilska metro station

McDonald’s Ukraine Ltd., a foreign direct investment company developing the McDonald’s fast-food restaurant chain in Ukraine, opened a restaurant in Kyiv on Monday in cooperation with the Grand Petrol gas station, the company’s press service reported.

The restaurant is located in a separate one-story building at 19b Bazhana Avenue, a five-minute walk from the Boryspilska metro station. The new establishment was built in cooperation with the Grand Petrol gas station, which has already become McDonald’s fourth partner in Ukraine among gas stations.

The total area of the restaurant is 465 sq m. The hall has 116 seats, and the terrace has 68 more. There is a bicycle parking lot nearby. It is noted that the establishment has special places for people in wheelchairs.

From the first day of operation, visitors can order dishes at the cash register, at self-service terminals and with the McDelivery service from 07:00 to 23:00. For motorists, two McDrive lines with separate parking spaces will operate from 05:00 to 23:00. For uninterrupted operation, a generator is installed in the establishment, as in almost 90% of McDonald's restaurants in Ukraine.

The new restaurant has created about 100 jobs. In total, McDonald's in Ukraine employs about 10,000 people.

All McDonald's restaurants in Ukraine operate in a high security mode and close during an air

The first McDonald's restaurant in Ukraine was opened in Kyiv on May 24, 1997.

As reported, McDonald’s began a phased opening of restaurants in Ukraine on September 20, 2022. This McDonald’s became the 109th operating in Ukraine (another 15 restaurants are temporarily closed for safety reasons).
