Fortifications in Zaporizhia region 100% ready – PM

The construction of fortifications in Zaporizhia region is 100% completed, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal has said Friday.

"One of the key priorities for us in each frontline region is the construction of fortifications. This year, the government allocated UAH 1.9 billion to Zaporizhia region for these needs. The work is 100% completed," he said on the Telegram channel, following an offsite meeting of the government in Zaporizhia region.

According to the Prime Minister, 358 military strongholds have been prepared and hundreds of kilometers of defensive lines have been equipped.
