Chernyshov: 50% of men of draft age ready to return to Ukraine if issue with reservations resolved

Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of National Unity of Ukraine Oleksiy Chernyshov states that 50% of men of draft age are ready to return to Ukraine, without waiting for the end of the war, if the issue with reservations is resolved.

"Some 50% of men of draft age are ready to return to Ukraine today, without waiting for the end of the war, if the issue of reservations is resolved. It is not the war today that is the factor that stops men from returning. Of course, they are intimidated by the issue of possible mobilization. Whether this is good or bad, we will evaluate it later, this is how it is now," Chernyshov said at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Human Rights, Deoccupation and Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine, National Minorities and Interethnic Relations, which took place on December 23.

In this regard, according to him, future Unity Hubs abroad should provide services for employment in Ukraine and resolving issues with mobilization and military registration documents.
