Putin does nothing with fuel oil from tankers in Black Sea, he is only interested in Oreshnik, other madness – Zelenskyy
Russian tankers pose a full-scale threat in terms of financing the war and in terms of harm to the environment, Vladimir Putin does nothing with the consequences of the tanker disaster - fuel oil in the Black Sea, he is only interested in Oreshnik and other madness, said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
"Now everyone sees the consequences of the disaster in the Black Sea - fuel oil polluting the coast. Russia uses very old vessels - 50 years old - uses anything just to make money. This is a full-scale threat - both in terms of financing the war and in terms of harm to the environment," Zelenskyy said in a video address on Monday evening.
The President stressed that no sea deserves all this damage from the Russian presence.
"Right now, fuel oil in the Black Sea is the problem of the people themselves, and Putin is doing nothing, he is only interested in his old Oreshniks and other madness. We must do everything possible to force Russia to real peace and responsibility for everything it has done as quickly as possible," Zelenskyy emphasized.
