Zelenskyy about morning attack on Kyiv: Everyday terror deserves more pressure for terrorist

The world should not take Russian madness as something habitual, everyday terror deserves more and more pressure on the terrorist, big sanctions against Russia are needed, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said in response to the morning missile attack of Kyiv.

"Obviously, such Russian madness should not be perceived by the world as something habitual – everyday terror deserves more and more pressure on the terrorist. Russia must respond, and even if they are led by a completely inadequate person, the Russian state, thanks to the pressure on them, must feel what reality is and how reality can punish international criminals. Big sanctions against Russia are needed," he said in an evening video address.

The head of state thanked all partners who are responding "to this and other Russian shelling with readiness to provide more air defense systems, more weapons that can defend against terrorists."

Zelenskyy also said that the Ukrainian side have returned from Brussels with new air defense agreements.

"Also, Germany has already handed over an additional IRIS-T system. Thank you!" he said.
