Khortytsia Group denies info about encirclement of defense forces near Uspenivka, Trudove
Information about an operational encirclement of certain units of the Ukrainian defense forces in the vicinity of Uspenivka and Trudove, which has been spread in the media, does not correspond to reality, the press service of the Khortytsia Operational and Strategic Group of Forces has said Friday.
"This information does not correspond to reality. The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine made a decision to withdraw units of the Ukrainian defense forces from the relevant area to avoid encirclement. Military units, which for a long time were engaged in heavy defensive battles with superior enemy forces, carried out the necessary maneuvers to avoid encirclement and continue to perform operational tasks at the Kurakhove-Kostiantynopilske line," it said on the Telegram channel.
The press service stressed that the dissemination of unverified and unreliable information harms the performance of tasks by the Ukrainian defense forces, is actively disseminated by the information resources of the aggressor country and fully corresponds to the enemy's narratives.
