Ukraine provides USA with evidence of Western technologies used in Russian weapons
The Main Inspectorate and the Technical Inspectorate of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine handed over to the Office of Inspector General of the U.S. Department of Defense a detailed analysis of foreign components in Russian weapons, the press service of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry has said on Friday.
In particular, Western-made guidance systems, navigation modules, control units and computing devices were found in the Russian Orlan-10 UAV, it said on the Telegram channel.
"The Ukrainian side provided full information about the components, including photographic materials, serial numbers and data on manufacturers. This cooperation is aimed at strengthening sanctions and blocking electronics supply channels used by Russia for its war crimes," the ministry said.
