Zelenskyy on lowering military age: if person stands without weapon, what difference it makes if he is 20 or 30 years old

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on the discussions on lowering the mobilization age in Ukraine, pointing to the understaffing of Ukrainian brigades and the lack of weapons.

“About the age. Please tell me, if a person is standing in front of you without a weapon, what difference does it make if this person is 20 or 30 years old? There is no difference at all. That is, the partners pay attention to the physical capabilities of a particular military. And we pay attention that we have ‘naked’ brigades. I just don't want to repeat it,” Zelenskyy said at a press conference in Brussels on Thursday.

He stressed that there are strong brigades in Ukraine, and there are those that are not equipped, first of all, with weapons.
