Stefanchuk: Ukraine ready for negotiations with Russia on its own terms
Ukraine is ready to enter negotiations on ending the war with Russia only on its own terms, Verkhovna Rada Chairman Ruslan Stefanchuk has said on Thursday.
"My position did not change. The Russian Federation is the aggressor in this war, and Ukraine is the victim. Only terms of Ukraine, as victim of this aggression, must be the terms on which we are ready to conclude peace," he told a press briefing on Thursday, commenting on Putin's statement about Russia's readiness for peace negotiations.
