DPRK troops setting extra observation posts for fear of Ukrainian attack drones – GUR
DPRK troops are setting up additional observation posts, fearing Ukraine's attack drones, the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine has said.
"On December 16, 2024, the aggressor state Russia continued to use North Korean troops in combat operations on the territory of the Kursk region. After serious losses, DPRK units began to set up additional observation posts to detect drones of the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine," it said on the Telegram channel Tuesday.
GUR also said that before the assault, North Korean troops accumulate a group of up to 20-30 soldiers at the front lines, moving in small groups of up to six soldiers to the area of concentration.
"The constant accumulation of assault groups by the DPRK army personnel in the Kursk region indicates that Moscow does not want to lose the pace of offensive actions," it said.
