Interfax-Ukraine agency becomes laureate of SUP 2024 award as Best media on business and economics

The Interfax-Ukraine news agency has won a special prize for the Best media on business and economics at the sixth annual awards of the Union of Ukrainian Entrepreneurs (SUP).

As noted at the ceremony, the agency was noted for prompt and objective coverage of important business stories, an analytical approach to economic events and active support of the culture of entrepreneurship in Ukraine.

A year earlier, a similar award was received by the Forbes Ukraine publication, and a year earlier - the NV media project.

In total, SUP selected winners in 12 nominations and presented five special awards in 2024.

Ma'Rijany Hemp Company, which is implementing the largest industrial hemp processing project in Ukraine at the Marizhany industrial park in Zhytomyr region, was singled out for the Successful Flight nomination for the most effective entry into new markets.

In the Creative of the Year nomination, the winners were Film.UA Group, whose film Konotop Witch, made without state funding, raised UAH 57.4 million and attracted 358,600 viewers, and the farm Sapphire Agro, which used TikTok and Instagram to draw attention to the preservation of the grey Ukrainian cow, reaching more than 4.7 million views and launching the sale of cows via the Internet and social networks.

In the Best Software Solution nomination, the pharmaceutical company Darnitsa was noted for its implementation of the eCTD electronic format for submission of drug registration dossiers.

In the Sustainable Business nomination, Nova Poshta won for investing UAH 1.53 billion in sustainable development, while in the Best Technological Solution nomination, Netpeak Group won for implementing the LITI AI model for analysing candidates' soft skills through video interviews.

The nomination for Best Employer (HR Brand) was won by Aurora Multimarket for implementing a comprehensive program to support veterans, including psychological support, training, sports activities and mentoring, and the nomination for Strength and Power was won by the Coffeeton coffee company and the Chernihiv equipment manufacturer PET Technologies, which have demonstrated incredible resilience and growth even in the most difficult times.

In the Social Project of the Year nomination, SoftServe was recognised for the implementation of the charity project Drive for Life, aimed at the purchase and delivery of ambulances to military doctors: thanks to the cooperation with the group Okean Elzy and concerts in Europe and North America, more than UAH 16 million were raised.

In the nomination Transformation of the Year, the winner was Sheriff for creating a center for training sappers for humanitarian mine clearance, while in the new nomination Ukrainian Business in Europe, the award went to Kormotech, which built a plant in Lithuania to produce 25,000 tonnes of wet food per year and plans to double its capacity by 2026.

The Business Ombudsman Council received a special award For the Protection of Business Rights for effective interaction with entrepreneurs, professional protection of their rights and interests, and significant contribution to the creation of a favourable business environment in Ukraine, and the Anastasiia Gurska Law Firm received the award Reliable Provider of Business Protection Centre.
