Zelenskyy on eSupport program: Obviously, people need it
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy praised the first results of the eSupport program – almost 6.5 million Ukrainians have already applied for the program.
"Almost 6.5 million Ukrainians have already applied for eSupport, of which 1.6 million are applications for children. The pace of development of this program is good, as we expected. It is obvious that people need the program. And the first payments are already being made," he said in his evening address on Wednesday
Regarding the structure of spending these funds, Zelenskyy indicated that about half of the payments were transferred for utilities. "A significant part goes to volunteer funds, and it is very important that people can support our army at the expense of these funds," the president emphasized.
"The eSupport program will operate for three months of winter. And this is the time when you can submit an application, and throughout the next year you can spend these funds," Zelenskyy recalled.
