Germany's aid to Ukraine reaches EUR 37 bln – Shmyhal
Germany's aid to Ukraine has reached EUR 37 billion, which is the largest amount among all European states, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said on Wednesday.
"During the 7th Ukrainian-German Economic Forum, Chancellor Olaf Scholz confirmed that Germany will send the sixth IRIS-T system and Patriot launchers by the end of the year. We are grateful for the contribution into security of our state, it will help to protect many human lives," he said on the Telegram channel.
The Prime Minister also thanked the German government for its state investment programs and export guarantees for business on the Ukrainian market.
He added that 53 investment guarantees have been provided for German projects in Ukraine worth around EUR 382 million.
