EU Council approves EUR 4.2 bln payment under Ukraine Facility – Ukrainian PM
The Council of the European Union (EU) has approved another payment of EUR 4.2 billion to Ukraine as part of the Ukraine Facility, announced Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
"This involves receiving EUR 4.2 billion this month, which will bring the total assistance under this initiative to EUR 16 billion," Shmyhal wrote on his Telegram channel.
According to the Prime Minister, this financial support demonstrates a strong commitment to strengthening Ukraine's economy, supporting key reforms and its aspirations for European integration, and reinforcing the nation on its path to victory.
