Zourabichvili thanks Zelenskyy for imposing sanctions against Georgian authorities
Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili thanked Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy for the sanctions imposed against a number of Georgian politicians.
“I could not say it better. Thank you Volodymyr! Russia is trying to get back the control over the Black Sea!” Zourabichvili wrote on the social network X, commenting on Zelenskyy's statement.
As reported, on Thursday, December 5, Zelenskyy signed a decree on the imposition of sanctions against Bidzina Ivanishvili and 19 other people.
He noted the importance so that "the partners also now talk about their position, honestly stating what is happening. And we must act."
"This is what happens in international affairs: if you do not react in time or if you do not react in a fundamental way, then what follows are lost decades, and countries are deprived of their freedom," the President explained.
