Scholz: I will announce additional weapons worth EUR 650 mln at meeting with Zelenskyy

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, who arrived in Kyiv on Monday morning, announced the provision of a new package of military support to Ukraine in the amount of EUR 650 million.

"Germany will remain the strongest supporter of Ukraine in Europe. At a meeting with Volodymyr Zelenskyy, I will announce additional armament worth EUR 650 million, which should be delivered in December," Scholz wrote on the social network X on Monday morning.

"Ukraine can rely on us. We say what we do. And we do what we say," the German Chancellor stressed.

Earlier, the DPA reported that Scholz arrived in Kyiv, publishing his photo on the platform of Kyiv railway station.
