Law on increasing military levy to 5% to enter into force on Dec 1 – Hetmantsev
Law No. 4015-IX on increasing military levy from 1.5% to 5% and a number of other amendments to the Tax Code was mistakenly published on Thursday, November 28, and will enter into force on December 1, 2024, said Danylo Hetmantsev, head of the Verkhovna Rada relevant committee.
"A sleepless night is the result – the resource law will enter into force on December 1, 2024. It will be published accordingly on November 30," he wrote on Telegram.
Hetmantsev called the publication of the law on November 28 "a printer's mistake."
At an attempt to go to the address of the publication of the law, Voice of Ukraine now gives an error message.
"Common sense has won. Dear accountants, sorry for the wasted nerve cells," the head of the committee concluded.
