Defense Minister of Netherlands announces supply of Patriot air defense systems to Kyiv
Minister of Defense of the Netherlands Ruben Brekelmans on Thursday announced the supply of three Patriot air defense missile systems to Ukraine.
"The Ukrainians are facing a harsh winter because... air raids continue. That's why we delivered three Patriot air defense systems to them," the minister wrote on the X social network, without specifying when these deliveries were made.
In October, Brekelmans reported that Amsterdam had delivered the first batch of F-16 fighters promised to Ukraine. In November, it became known that the Netherlands had transferred the remaining two F-16 fighters from a batch of 18 units to Romania, which Ukrainian pilots will use for training.
