Zelenskyy to sign law on 2025 state budget on Nov 28
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says he will sign the law on the state budget for 2025 on Thursday, November 28.
According to him, on Wednesday he held a meeting with Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko and representatives of the Verkhovna Rada.
"We discussed the main paspects of the state budget for next year, our financial readiness for this December and for next year. And we agreed that tomorrow I will sign the law on the state budget for next year – immediately after the law comes from the Verkhovna Rada. The main thing is that all of Ukraine's financial needs for the near future and for next year are guaranteed," Zelenskyy said in a video address on Wednesday evening.
On November 19, the Verkhovna Rada adopted the state budget for 2025 in second reading and as a whole.
