Info in social media about Ukrainian Red Cross' Christmas aid to population is fake – statement
The Ukrainian Red Cross has issued a warning that information in social media about the organization's alleged joint charitable project with Rozetka for Christmas is not true.
"Another fake is being circulated in social media that the Ukrainian Red Cross jointly with Rozetka would allegedly present charity gifts and money ahead of Christmas to support the population in winter period. An application is allegedly required to obtain it. This information is not true – it is a fraud campaign," the Ukrainian Red Cross said on Facebook.
The organization emphasized that it does not conduct any campaigns and does not demand any applications to collect citizens' personal data.
All information about assistance provided by the Ukrainian Red Cross is available on its official website and social media pages.
