Zelenskyy: We see threats in Zaporizhia direction, our defense forces control situation
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky reported on the situation in key areas of the front, in particular, on the Kurakhove and Zaporizhia axes, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said Monday.
"First of all, Donetsk region. Kurakhove direction is the hardest right now. We are working to strengthen our positions. Zaporizhia direction. We see threats, our Ukrainian Defense Forces are keeping the situation under control," Zelenskyy said on the Telegram channel.
Syrsky also delivered a report on the Kursk operation. Ukrainian fighters continue to defend their positions and inflict tangible losses on the Russian army.
"Our task is to destroy Russian potential in the border area as much as possible," the head of state said.
He thanked all Ukrainian soldiers, sergeants and officers who are carrying out the tasks.
