Law enforcement officers documented the consequences of a missile strike carried out by the Russian Armed Forces in the center of Kharkiv on Monday morning.
"A hit to the ground was recorded. There was a fire on an area of about 80 square meters. Three cars and facades of non-residential buildings were damaged by fire. Twenty-three people aged 21 to 71 were injured by the explosion. Sixteen victims were taken to the hospital," the communications department of the National Police Department in Kharkiv region reports.
A pretrial investigation has been launched under Article 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
