Nausėda after conversation with Trump: Lithuania to continue to work with USA to contain Russia
Following a phone conversation with U.S. President-elect Donald Trump, Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda assured that Lithuania will continue to cooperate with the U.S. "to contain Russia and solve problems created by China."
"Spoke on the phone with Donald Trump. Emphasized that strategic partnership with the U.S. is Lithuania's top priority. The United States' presence is vital for security in the transatlantic area.," Nausėda said on the X social network on Monday.
"Lithuania will continue working with the U.S. to contain Russia and address the challenges posed by China," Nausėda said.
