Duda: Conversation between Scholz, Putin was a mistake
President of Poland Andrzej Duda has condemned the recent phone conversation between German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Vladimir Putin.
"I doubt that the conversation between the German Chancellor and V. Putin was agreed with the allies. Russia is brutally attacking Ukraine, and one of the leaders of European countries, with a strong economy, is holding talks with the aggressor. I think this is a mistake," he said on the X social network on Monday.
Duda also welcomed U.S. President Joe Biden's decision to allow the Armed Forces of Ukraine fire ATACMS missiles deep into the territory of Russia.
"It was very necessary and it is good that it was issued. Russia clearly sees that Ukraine receives support from Western countries," he said.
