Norway will join ‘Danish format’ of investing in production of weapons in Ukraine – Umerov
Norway will join the "children's format," which allows direct financing of Ukrainian defense production, and is also considering the creation of a new format for investing in the Ukrainian defense industry, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reports.
"During the visit to Oslo, we agreed with Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store and Defense Minister Bjorn Arild Gram that Norway will join the ‘Danish format’ of support - direct financing of production in Ukraine. This will allow us to produce and supply the necessary weapons for our defense forces faster. In addition, they discussed a new format of cooperation - the ‘Norwegian model.’ We are talking about a new model of investing in Ukrainian defense technology companies. Details will be provided later," said Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov.
He also thanked Norway for its determination to support Ukraine.
