Israeli early warning system to be launched in Ukraine soon – ambassador
Israel, as part of its assistance to Kyiv, has fully provided everything necessary for the creation of an early warning system for air threats - now Ukraine is in the final stage of launching this technology, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the State of Israel Yevhen Korniychuk said during his speech at the fifth Kyiv Jewish Forum.
According to Korniychuk, as reported by the press service of the forum on Thursday, part of this early warning system has already been launched in Ukraine. In particular, three-dimensional radars of Israeli production. "This is not a secret. They [radars] are already being used by the military today. And they are absolutely suitable or possible to purchase in large quantities if necessary," the ambassador said.
He noted that Ukraine and Israel are fighting a common enemy, because it looks like the wars in the two countries are "coordinated from one center." At the same time, Ukraine and Israel also have common allies.
In his opinion, Israel would also be interested in Ukrainian mediation, related, for example, to Ukraine's friendly relations with Saudi Arabia.
