Trump to soon appoint special rep for Ukraine to negotiate ending war – Fox News
Donald Trump, who won the U.S. presidential election, will soon appoint a special representative for Ukraine, who will be responsible for negotiations to end the Russian war against Ukraine, Fox News said, citing its own sources.
"You will see a very high-ranking special representative, a person with great authority, who will be tasked with finding a solution, reaching a peaceful settlement," one of the sources said.
"You're going to see that soon," the source said.
The job is not expected to be paid. Kurt Volker served as special representative for Ukraine on a voluntary basis from 2017 to 2019.
