Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Estonian Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur.
"Today I met with the Estonian Defense Minister. Recently, due to the Russian 'shaheds' strike on Kyiv, the house where the residence of the Estonian Ambassador to Ukraine is located was damaged. This is one of the many proofs that we need a significant increase not only in protection from Russian terrorism, but also in pressure on Russia in order to limit its military production," Zelenskyy said in an evening video address on Monday.
According to the president, in the next sanctions package of the European Union, it is important to hit, in particular, the schemes for circumventing sanctions by Russia, since each "shahed" and each missile used by Russia are components supplied in circumvention of sanctions.
"Anyone who continues such trade with Russia must clearly understand the consequences. Peace through strength is, in particular, through the strength of sanctions," Zelenskyy said.
