Stefanchuk, Borrell discuss Ukraine's path to full EU membership
Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk met with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell during his visit to Kyiv and discussed with him issues of Ukraine's European integration.
"We discussed Ukraine's path to full EU membership and the practical work that is being carried out in this area," Stefanchuk said in Telegram on Monday.
He said this is Borrell's last visit to Kyiv as the head of European diplomacy and noted the value of the EU high representative's personal position on the issue of granting Ukraine permission to strike military targets on Russian territory.
"I believe that the EU will continue to support Ukraine. This concerns both financial, military, humanitarian aid, and political decisions that Ukraine will need," Stefanchuk said.
