Zelenskyy announces support package for Ukrainians for winter period
Ukrainian officials are preparing a draft support package for Ukrainians for the winter period, it will be presented by the end of November, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
"Officials are also currently preparing other decisions, in particular for the winter support package for Ukrainians, which will be presented this month," Zelenskyy said in an evening video address on Friday.
He also said the decision on a fixed additional payment for all school teachers was made by the government on his instructions.
"We all understand that the resources of our state are limited, but the government must help people who work in Ukraine and, of course, for Ukraine. There are funds for this," the head of state said.
