Training one soldier-shooter costs about UAH 200,000

The cost of basic military training of one soldier-shooter at the state training center is about UAH 200,000, commander of the training of the Ground Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Ihor Palahniuk said.

"We calculated that training one soldier in basic military training for one and a half months costs about UAH 200,000," he said during a conversation with journalists.

As explained by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, this amount also includes ammunition, ammunition, fuel, food, etc. Additional training of a soldier in his specialty costs the state another UAH 100,000.
