Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal hopes that the presidency of Donald Trump in the United States will strengthen the strategic partnership between the countries and bring a just peace for Ukraine closer.

"Congratulations to Donald Trump on his victory in the U.S. presidential election. We look forward to an era of a strong USA under your leadership. We expect to strengthen our strategic partnership and move closer to a just peace. We look forward to continued support and the implementation of new bilateral projects,” Shmyhal said on X.
