Number of casualties in Kharkiv because of missile strike rises to 50 - Synehubov
As of Saturday morning, the number of casualties because of a missile strike carried out by the Russians on Kharkiv has risen to 50 people, said head of the regional military administration Oleh Synehubov.
"As a result of the shelling, 26 buildings and 12 cars were damaged. Some 13 civilians were injured. One policeman was killed, 36 policemen and one employee of the State Emergency Service were injured," Synehubov wrote on Telegram.
He reported that on the night of Saturday, enemy shelling targeted, in particular, Slatyne and Kozacha Lopan. In addition, the day before, an enemy hit a five-story residential building. Three people were injured. In Vilkhuvatka, because of the shelling, a private residential house was partially destroyed. Three people were injured.
Some 133 people, including four children, were evacuated from the Kupiansk and Borivske directions in 24 hours.
