Zelenskyy calls on Nordic Council members to put pressure on Russia to help end war faster

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, noting the important role of the Nordic Council member countries in helping Ukraine resist Russian aggression, called on them to continue to put pressure on the Russian Federation to end the war faster.

"I urge you to continue to put pressure on Russia so that it ends this war," he said at the Nordic Summit on Tuesday in Reykjavik (Iceland).

The Ukrainian president talked about effective sanctions in the fight against the new Russian fleet and providing Ukrainian soldiers with everything they need. He also spoke about maintaining those steps that will quickly give a greater perspective.

He emphasize once again that unity is absolutely necessary. Unity is the key to peace, Zelenskyy is convinced.
