USAID gives Ukrainian farmers 70,000 big bags for grain
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has provided Ukrainian farmers with 70,000 big bags for the safe and efficient storage and transportation of agricultural products, the organization’s press service reported on Facebook.
“USAID is committed to supporting Ukraine’s agricultural sector. To help Ukrainian farmers export their grain and oilseed, we've provided 70,000 flexible intermediate bulk container bags – crucial for the safe and efficient storage and transport of agricultural products,” the message reads.
This support ensures that Ukraine’s exports safely reach global markets to help alleviate the food security crisis exacerbated by Russia’s war.
Big bag is a soft container made of flexible material, designed for transportation and storage of various types of cargo with a loose consistency.
