Twelve mobile shelters installed in Kherson, Mykolaiv and Zaporizhia regions
In Kherson, Mykolaiv and Zaporizhia regions, 12 mobile shelters have been installed; they were equipped with the assistance of the Ukrainian, Danish and German Red Cross Societies (URCS), as well as with the financial support of the European Union.
As reported by the Ukrainian Red Cross Society on Facebook, shelters have appeared in Ochakiv, Ternivka, Novo-Oleksandrivska, Belenkivska, Biloozerska and Chornobayivska merged territorial communities (hromadas).
Mobile shelters will protect people from blast waves and shrapnel near healthcare facilities, markets, bus stations, public transport stops and administrative service locations. These structures have an area of 10 m² and are equipped with seatings. One shelter can accommodate 10 to 15 people.
