URCS works in places affected by Russian attacks in Sumy
A detachment of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) worked together with rescuers in locations affected by the night and morning Russian air attacks on Sumy.
"Sumy continues to be shelled by Russia. During the night and morning attacks... residential areas and critical infrastructure facilities were hit. There are casualties. Volunteers of the Sumy rapid response unit of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society worked shoulder to shoulder with rescuers at the scene of the emergency. They cleared rubble and provided first aid to the victims," the URCS reported on Facebook on Tuesday.
Restoration work is currently ongoing at the sites of destruction.
As reported, as a result of the Russian occupiers' strike on Tuesday night on a private residential building in the regional center, three people were killed, including a child.
As a result of the morning attack, there were hits on a residential apartment building and critical infrastructure facilities.
