Biden promises not to leave Ukraine without support in winter
The winter season will be difficult for Ukraine, and Kyiv's allies should not leave it without support, U.S. President Joe Biden said.
Biden said in Berlin on Friday that it’s going to be a tough winter, but they are not going to give up. He pledged to continue their support, keep moving forward until Ukraine achieves a fair and lasting peace consistent with the UN Charter.
He thanked the German authorities for their assistance to Ukraine.
Biden arrived in Germany to discuss Ukraine and the Middle East with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, French President Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
