Specific contracts in Ukrainian defense production to be signed by late October – Zelenskyy

On Tuesday, Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov reported on the head of state's order to increase funding for domestic Ukrainian weapons production, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

“Drones, electronic warfare, artillery. Attracting investment from our partners. Our capabilities. By the end of this month, we will have specific new contracts in our Ukrainian defense production,” Zelenskyy said in his video address Tuesday evening.

“And this is one of our top priorities. No matter what happens in the world, Ukraine will be strong. This is the most important thing,” the President stressed.
