"No, it has been postponed. Of course, the platform called 'Ramstein' will work," Podoliak said on the national telethon on Friday, answering the question of whether the meeting of the Contact Group in the Ramstein format has been cancelled.
"We will see a slightly different format there – not defense ministers, but heads of state. Since it is necessary to make key decisions in a consolidated manner and absolutely clearly state whether the West is ready to lose, or is ready to put pressure on Russia, and not only Russia, but also other potential aggressors," the presidential adviser said.
According to him, Zelenskyy decided to visit separately the countries whose leaders were to gather in Ramstein, because "he set himself the goal of explaining the essence of the proposal called the Plan for Victory." "He did this on the platform in the United States, and, of course, he set himself the goal of explaining this in detail to other key partners as well... He wants to explain the logic of the process to each of them separately, because it may seem to someone that this is a question like give more weapons or let's lift some restrictions on strikes.
