Ukraine to hand over Vatican list of journalists in Russian captivity – Zelenskyy
The Ukrainian side will hand over to the Vatican a list of Ukrainian journalists who are in captivity in Russia, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said following a meeting with Pope Francis on Friday.
"It is very difficult to carry out this work, to push forward exchanges. And that is why we need special assistance, in particular, the efforts of the Vatican. And we agreed that Ukraine will hand over a list of journalists who are currently in captivity in Russia," Zelenskyy said in an evening video address on Friday.
"We discussed in detail the return of civilians, the return of deported children, and we hope for support," the head of the Ukrainian state said.
