Ukrainian Red Cross Society provides psychosocial support across 23 regions of Ukraine, city of Kyiv
The Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) is implementing a psychosocial support program in 23 regions of Ukraine, as well as in the city of Kyiv.
"Since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, more than 780,000 adults and 476,000 children have received psychosocial support. Additionally, eight psychosocial support centers have been established," reported the URCS Communications and Marketing Department.
The Ukrainian Red Cross Society also places significant emphasis on maintaining the mental well-being of its own staff, as many employees and volunteers work under constant stress while assisting others. Some of them are internally displaced persons and have suffered due to the war.
October 10 is World Mental Health Day.
